In short, Celebrate Naples is an opportunity for community minded individuals to apply their talents and time to create FREE quality events for those living in the Naples Central School District. Celebrate Naples focuses on celebrating the Naples community… its businesses, organizations, and ALL its people. The Celebrate Naples events are designed to provide family entertainment and to bring Naples residents together in a place…”Where We Call Home!”

In 2022, the Naples Grape and Arts Festival LLC surveyed the Naples community. The survey revealed a nostalgia for what residents remembered about the Naples Grape Festivals of years past, so a small team of highly motivated people, brought back the parade and added a street dance, fireworks,  a local winemaker's competition, and a chili cook-off. With the support of many of our local businesses, it was a resounding success, but most importantly, it was loved by our community.

As a result, a new organization was formed called Celebrate Naples LLC. Independent of all other local groups or existing events, its sole purpose is to plan, fund, and execute community events for Naples residents to enjoy. We planned to launch our first event in September 2024; however, in November 2022, we were contacted by the Maxfield Hose Company. They expressed a strong desire to continue the momentum established by the first community events. With a team of like-mined individuals, they put on a parade, street fair, and fireworks that were held on September 9th, 2023. Again, these events were thoroughly enjoyed by the many who even ventured out in the rain to be part of it.

     

So, where are we today? We are working hard to create another memorable good time for this community we call home. We are kicking off the celebration with a charity gala event to support Hospeace House, our local comfort home, on Friday, September 6th. And, on Saturday, September 7th, we have another parade, street dance, and fireworks planned for you to share with friends and family. Celebrate Naples Specials will be sponsored by local businesses and organizations on Friday, Saturday and Sunday throughout the day. Check out the website for more details as they become available.
